The Red Dress

For this piece, I painted a picture I took of myself in a red dress that held a lot of meaning for me. I loved this dress and it does mean a lot more to me than being “just a dress”. While this faceless painting might not express emotion right from the beginning, there is more symbolism to the connection behind this piece.
